As the owner of AMS, I have worked in the accounting industry since earning my Bachelor of Science Degree in Accounting from the University of Wyoming in 2013. Following graduation, I joined a public accounting firm in Casper, Wyoming, where I gained extensive experience performing audits for both public and private industries, preparing tax returns, consulting with clients on financial planning strategies, and assisting businesses with financial statement preparation and accounting best practices.

Patrica "Trish" Volkmar
Hello! I’m Patricia “Trish” Volkmar, the Bookkeeper at AMS. Originally from Douglas, Wyoming, I have proudly called Cheyenne home for the past 16 years. With over a decade of experience in Accounts Payable, I bring a strong attention to detail, organization, and consistency to every aspect of my work. Although I earned my Associate’s Degree in Paralegal Studies, I discovered my passion for accounting early in my career while working at Great Lakes Airlines. From there, I spent five years with the City of Cheyenne managing Accounts Payable operations, further strengthening my financial and administrative expertise. Many of the skills I developed through my legal studies — including accuracy, communication, and problem-solving — have translated seamlessly into my accounting career. What I enjoy most about bookkeeping is the structure and reliability that comes with helping businesses stay organized and financially efficient. I take pride in supporting our clients and contributing to the dependable, personalized service AMS is known for.
